LHP Kwang Hyun Kim (1-5, 3.98) vs. TBA
BSM // MLBN // KMOX // WIJR
Also BSSW+ in Oklahoma and Arkansas and BSSO in TN, KY and MSJune 30, 2021 at 8:23 am #165157The Brewers beat the Cubs again last night. They now lead the Cubs by 5, the Reds by 7, and the Cards by 8. Are the Crew threatening to run away with the division?
June 30, 2021 at 8:40 am #1651591/2 way point of the year. Trying to hover around .500 and see if they can make chicken salad out of chicken shit.
June 30, 2021 at 11:23 am #165169Looking into my Crystal ball I see KK cruising through 2 innnings. The start of the 3rd.. he walks the leadoff hitter and Schildt pulls him. Cardinals use 7 pitchers to totaling 7BB, 7K, 7 earned runs.
June 30, 2021 at 2:19 pm #165178Holy cow! I just tuned in and discovered the Birds are ahead 6-1. Carp must be cooking salsa again for the boys.
June 30, 2021 at 2:21 pm #165179And Gant promptly gives up a leadoff double.

ParticipantWell good to see offense getting it going plus some decent pitching though we are talking Arizona here. Still getting bally sports Arizona on my cable but I found the local broadcast on extra innings.
June 30, 2021 at 3:01 pm #165183Sure is quiet around here today. Folks getting an early start on
fourth of July over there?June 30, 2021 at 3:36 pm #1651861982 willie
ParticipantWell I had to do something and they let Arizona score three runs. Hopefully get this last inning and get a sweep
June 30, 2021 at 3:47 pm #165188The Cubs scored a touchdown in the first inning to lead the Brewers 7-0 but the Crew have answered with two touchdowns and now lead 14-7 in the fifth. It looks like we will stay 8 games out.
June 30, 2021 at 3:49 pm #165189I doubt if the Dbacks could beat many AAA teams but hey the sweep is nice. We are desperate. We have one more series against a really bad team then the schedule changes.
June 30, 2021 at 3:55 pm #165191I saw that Cubs/Brewers score gscottar and about sh~t myself. I was at the Amish restaurant when I checked the score and couldnt believe it was 14-7. On one hand we need for the Brewers to lose. But on the other hand, how can you root root root for the Cubs? It’s quite the conundrum.
I was in Evansville today, over at D-Patrick BMW having the yearly maintenance done on the BMW. Then I stopped at the Gasthof, the Amish restaurant, for my lunch.

June 30, 2021 at 4:49 pm #165199Oh I am very pleased with the Brewer-Cub score. I highly doubt we will win the NLC so if we can’t win it I sure as heck don’t want the Cubs to win it. They are now six games out…ha
June 30, 2021 at 5:53 pm #165206Man, that Milwaukee club is “Crew-zing”. They look to be the class of the division. The wild cards will probably come from the west, so a likely non-post season for our Birds.
June 30, 2021 at 6:13 pm #165207Nice surprise when I pulled up the box score after work. Looks like Kim and the relievers did well enough except Ramirez. We are unquestionably better than the DBs. That is kind of a relief after the Pirates fiasco, I mean series. Bader due back soon so I guess Nooty blew his chance. Lets keep winning.
June 30, 2021 at 7:17 pm #165212I was at the game today, got off work at 7am this morning, made the 2.5 hr drive from southern Indiana, watched the game, grabbed early dinner, 2.5 hour drive home, and I’m ready for bed. But it was the first game I’ve attended since 2018. I understand it is a Wednesday afternoon vs the worst team in baseball, but the attendance and atmosphere were both very lacking from any of my many past games attending.
Glad I got to see a W though! -
