A big question looms…….will major league pitchers be able to make the proper readjustments to not stop, but to somewhat contain Lars Nootbar?
Nootbar’s last at bat is typical of this year. Takes three great pitches, one that was a strike called a ball and then strikes out on a pitch way out of the zone. Just lost a series to the freaking Pirates.
5-4 loss. Ugh That’s 4 L’s in a row to two of THE worst teams in baseball.
4 under .500 and 7 games out now. Looking really grim.
That’s an easy one my man. Have fun with your granddaughters. If my grandson was over this weekend that’s exactly what I’d be doing, playing outside with him. Way more fun no question about it.
Did that but since many in mid-MO were without power this evening, grandpa time got cut short.
Hope everyone is safe husker. The ballgame is a ballgame. I spent the afternoon and evening down in Houston watching my boy play ball. Came out on the wrong end of both games but watching them play is always worth it. Play again tomorrow so hoping for better results.
We got a 4 inning start and stranded 12 runners and you will never win doing that.
I note that Edman went 0fer 5. That darn staff failed to properly prep him again.
I also note that Chasen Shreve has been an effective lefty in middle relief this year since being called up, so we can add that brick to the pile. (His 2.9 BB/9 is just to rub it in)
