A walk and a bomb. Even waino just feels compelled to walk people. Really sad.

San Diego’s offense without all their guys is about as good as ours was last year. You’d like to see a little more suppression of offense from our staff this series.

I know yadi likes to go after first pitch but I’d much rather early here he keep driving this guy’s pitch count up. If you swing at first pitch, better do something good with it.

Wainwright needs to put that hanger back in the toolbox.

We had better score lots and lots of runs. Like 7

That one had to feel good for Pham. Another guy that sat for quite awhile when Matheny kept running Brandon Moss out to left field, striking out a couple times a game.

Tommy finally got his chance the following year, and did well. But his bad-mouthing the club likely sent him packing. We did okay so far getting Cabrera. We will see if Williams ever earns playing time.

He looked to be gaining some consistency after a slow start, but then regressed.

Those bunt attempts by waino were horrible. With baders speed, just get in fair on ground. His focus is as bad as oviedos last night.

Paddack is always good for one blowup inning, but that doesn’t help if you’re already down by 6+ runs.

Three run homer by Nola and this one turns ugly in a hurry. 5-0 Padres. Their duds kill us and all our guys can do is ground out.

Looks like it will be time for Mannix real soon tonight.

This is horrible. Guys are getting their first home runs of the season. This is like one of those games you have in little league where there’s a super weak pitcher and everyone is chomping at the bit to get up and bat. And these are average at best hitters.

When Waino is good, he’s very good. When he’s bad, he’s horrid.

Oh wow. Just checked on the game and what an unpleasant surprise. Back with the wifey I go. You still have to believe that we’ll come back and win this game. Stay positive gang.

I guess we need to start up a Wainwright thread. Too bad, he used to be good.

What do Carp’s teammates say to him these days when he gets back to the dugout after yet another strike out? Nothing I suppose at this point, but the silence would probably be just as awkward as contrived pick-me-up comments.

I would prefer to have our painful to watch games spread out more. Certainly not two in a row.

Our boys didn’t leave their hearts in San Francisco…..they left them in Milwaukee, as they are demonstrating none of it in San Diego these past two evenings. I actually believe the players, and astonishingly, possibly even some of the coaching staff, thought they could just show up and beat San Diego’s B Team. These last two efforts were simply lame. If they get it handed to them again tomorrow, Shildt had better not give these guys a day off until the All Star break. They certainly could use the work.

Thank goodness all this happened nine time zones away and spared me the stomach ulcers. At least they found something useful for Carpenter to do. Tonight I think I’ll fish something up out of Netflix to pass the time while hoping we can feast on the bottom feeders next week.
