Yeah that launch stuff pretty much dies out when Kris Bryant cooled off. I’ve got a new method. Its called hit it solid!
I checked and couldnt find the score on Yahoo Sports/MLB. Then I scrolled across and saw we won 5-4 and only then did I realize it was only a 7 inning game! Redbirds win!!!

Nice win for us. Everybody in lineup with at least 1 hit. Good job by and use of the bullpen. Well played! Go Cardinals!
Didn’t get to see it but good win. Lots of hits, could have used a few more runs but solid relief pitching. Only 3 innings out of mikolas isn’t good though. Nice to see bader get off snide. Hopefully everyone can keep it going in second game.
Reds without Winker. That makes a difference. We are playing DeJong in game 2 though, so that takes 2 on-base times away from us compared to having Sosa in there.
But maybe, just maybe Paulie runs in to one. That park is a good place for a guy who occasionally connects.

Looks like it’s not Happ’s night. You could tell in the first inning. He was a little off. Got out of a jam but it caught up to him.
I didn’t realize you couldn’t protest games anymore. Apparently because of replay being installed. But I don’t get that, a protest has more to do with a possible rules violation tht the umpires may not have caught.
This game has gotten ugly. Now Fernandez might be hurt. Not a big loss but still just one more pitcher. Was looking good coming in to this game but we needed a good start. Happe has been great for us so hard to blame him but I wish he would have had his bad game the next start.
Dejong kicks the ball all around on the throw from left field, throws a terrible throw to arenado and somehow they give arenado the error. Even if you can say arenado should have caught the ball and that’s a big if, the guy had stopped at second til dejongs stupidness. Now they changed the ruling. Smart but should have been made right from the start
