Ok, spring training is just about over and I am interested in who is going be in the everyday lineup. Or at least who is going to start there, sans Fowler and Wainwright. And who is going to be in the starting rotation.

I see there is a thread where someone says Hudson has been outstanding this spring. And O’Neill hit some dingers and was 4-5 the other day.

So, am I close with this lineup:
    Carpenter 3B
    Fowler RF
    Goldschmidt 1B
    Ozuna LF
    DeJong SS
    Molina C
    Wong 2B
    Bader CF

    Starters:
    Mikolas
    Flaherty
    Wainwright
    Then Who?

    Bullpen:
    Reyes
    Hicks
    Miller
    Then Who?

    CARDINALS
    Lineup:
    1) Matt Carpenter, 3B
    2) Paul Goldschmidt, 1B
    3) Paul DeJong, SS
    4) Marcell Ozuna, LF
    5) Yadier Molina, C
    6) Dexter Fowler, RF
    7) Kolten Wong, 2B
    8) Harrison Bader, CF

I hope and pray that is NOT the everyday lineup that we use.

Somebody please tell me its not!

MLB.Com says Miller and Hicks are the closer(s)???

What would be your lineup? I don’t like Goldy batting second and DeJong third.

Batting Goldy 2nd would be okay with somebody like Fowler batting 9th. They could tell Fowler that would be an analytics approach to him batting leadoff, with Carp 2nd and Goldy 3rd. Maybe Fowler would go for it.
