3:10 p.m. RHP Miles Mikolas (7-2, 2.69) vs. RHP Jhoulys Chacin (6-2, 3.18) FOX Sports Midwest/KMOX
Updated to RHP Chase Anderson (5-6, 4.54).
June 23, 2018 at 11:39 am #57874Lineup from Danny Mac.
Carpenter, Pham, Martinez, Ozuna, Molina, Gyorko, Munoz, Bader, Mikolas.
June 23, 2018 at 12:47 pm #57887This team so badly needs a game where they just smack doubles and singles all over with maybe a single homer on the ledger. Every game lately has been a battle or a blowout loss. A comfortable win wouldn’t be too much to ask for, would it?
June 23, 2018 at 3:18 pm #57908Ozuna refused to take a walk, wound up flying out…
June 23, 2018 at 4:37 pm #57920Why did Cain come out of the game?
June 23, 2018 at 4:54 pm #57921Yadi doing all he can to get us out of this funk.
Cards up 3-2
June 23, 2018 at 5:00 pm #579221st game of the series was bad. As bad as they come.
But Friday was encouraging. Bats went silent but had a shot. Just got beat by one guy. Crazy but happens
Today solid pitching. Bats are still in a rut but battling is all you can do.
Let’s win it!
June 23, 2018 at 5:02 pm #57923Gameday says Cain left the game due to an injured groin.
June 23, 2018 at 5:04 pm #57924The pitching will crumble because the load of having to carry the team. The pressure of having to toss a shutout because of the offense stinking.
June 23, 2018 at 6:07 pm #57925thats a winner.
Nice work by the pitching and Yadi providing the offense
I’ll take it.
Go for the split tomorrow!
Go Cards!
June 23, 2018 at 6:07 pm #57926Cards hold on for a 3-2 win. Record improves to 39-36. Brewers lead series 2-1.
June 23, 2018 at 6:14 pm #57929Quiet in here today. Good to get a win, even though the offense was basically Yadi and nothing else.
June 23, 2018 at 6:19 pm #57933Reds pound the Cubs – again. That’s three straight over the Cubs. DeSclafani with a grand slam. The first grand slam by a Reds pitcher since Bob Purkey in 1959.

June 23, 2018 at 6:26 pm #57934I guess this qualifies as an offensive explosion.
Thank you Yadi. Have to name a wine after him.
June 23, 2018 at 6:35 pm #57935Good win today. Will need that momentum tomorrow with Luke on the mound. Cards need early runs tomorrow to put pressure on them.
June 23, 2018 at 6:55 pm #57936A win is a win.Mikolas and molina main men today.Nice recovery by Norris.
June 23, 2018 at 7:35 pm #57937Is Hicks OK? They came out to talk to him after one of his pitches and then he did not come out for the 8th. Hopefully just not overusing him.
June 23, 2018 at 10:56 pm #57945LOL! that’s touchy situation round these parts Sooner!
Man it’s really hard right now to find anything nice to say about this team on offense and in the pen. Molina saved us today and he looked confident today at the plate. Pham looked lost and it seems like team really like to beat us with fastballs up in and around the zone. They know either we’ll hack at or take it for a strike.
