What, almost time for the first pitch and not one – ZERO – posts about the game tonight?
Its been raining about all day here in SW Indiana. I wonder what the weather is like in Detroit? Has Hurricane Gordon dumped any moisture up towards Michigan? He sure did northern Indiana.

Why is DeJong still hitting 5th? Or even in the lineup for that matter? Geez Louise, he’s now hitting in the .220s.

OPS for last 7 games Martinez .334 Carp .687 DeJong .600 that’s is not going to cut it. Martinez specifically needs to sit down for a few days. Carp and DeJong need a day off.
Our guys are in a tailspin tonight — errors, misplays, strikeouts (9 thru four innings). Not a way to win a game let alone contend for a playoff spot. Boyd with a career high nine s/o’s. Our guys are turning him into Mickey Lolich for crying out loud.
Now we better not lose this one….even though they still have 3 outs in the 9th and we only have 1, I still like our odds. This is the Ozuna we’ve been waiting for.
Somewhere along the way, the clock struck midnight. The shine is off. They are creating ways to lose to bad teams now.
