The Brewers offense is humming right now. Santana has like 5 homeruns in the last two weeks, but all the regulars are hitting well too. We will have to at least beat them all three games to get that wildcard.
Colorado still has to lose 2 of their last 4 (with us winning out) for us to tie them. Yeesh.
Game-wise, we could really use a good game by Wacha here. Our bullpen has a ton of holes in it other than Nicasio.
The Rockies are sending their “ace” today against a guy with a 5+ era for Miami. The Rockies are also better vs. LH pitching than RHers.
“Luckily” they do have to face Kershaw on Saturday.

Wacha PTime is running even shorter. Colorado with a 9-3 lead on Miami in the 5th.
Hard to take somewhat. Last year we are eliminated on the last day of the season. This year we are going to be eliminated in the last 2-4 days of the season.

Primarily Cecil, but also Oh and Rosenthal are the reason why. And whoever thought this would happen to Wainwright?
What about the pathetic offense that didn’t score squat for runs 1/2-2/3rd of the year don’t put the blame on a few guys in the pen. Especially the amount outs they gave away with the worst base running i have ever seen and CArp was by far the WORST of the bunch. Add in a below average manager and that = missing playoffs
Inconsistent pitching,hitting,fielding and sloppy baserunning all contributed to this season `s mess.
Anybody who thought this team was playoff quality was fooling themselves. The Cardinals are who we thought they were….Not good enough.
If they had gotten only career average performances from Peralta, Diaz, Piscotty, Leake, Wainwright,
Oh, Cecil, Siegrist, Broxton, Rosenthal, Socolovitch, etc. you might be humming a different tune.It was good while it lasted. Getting pounded in the 7th 3-1 Cubs. Really bad pitch to Russell. 3-run homer

One would think as much as Wacha struggles the 3rd time through the line up MM would have been ready, but i guess that is giving MM way to much credit..guy is CLUELESS
