I am not sure Ponce de Leon is the answer, either. He is barely getting through five innings and walks remain a concern (4.4 per nine). Home runs allowed are up and strikeouts are down this season. While his ERA is 3.03, his FIP is 4.89. Gomber has been better, in my assessment.
