The question is…is Burleson a long term piece or just a guy that you keep as long as he’s cheap and then move on? Given that he can’t hit lefties at all, I’m more inclined to put him in the 2nd group. Maybe he’ll change that in the next couple years. But for now, he’s Matt Adams to me. I’m not sure that means he should be traded, but a guy like Gurevitch could easily be ready to fill that spot in 2-3 years.
Herrera seems like a legit good hitter and I hope he’s around for the next 5 years to play DH/1B/C.
