Well a 9-0 score indicates both are bad. But on the season, we are 13th in runs scored per game, and 9th in runs allowed per game (9th worst). So our pitching is worse than our hitting.
And a good pitching team with so-so hitting can compete. But a good hitting team with so-so pitching usually won’t contend. You want to build around pitching.
