If Mo were to name his position player starters again during the winter meetings, as he did last offseason, he has Arenado at 3B and Contreras at 1B/DH.
You can’t name Donny, Noot, Walker and Burly all as corner OF’rs, so he names Noot in LF, Walker in RF.
Burly comes in to 1B/DH, and Donovan bumps Gorman from 2B, deservedly.
(Contreras and Burly will decide who is the first baseman or DH)
And then Mo has to bundle, in an effort to include everyone. He names these three promising duos of enviable depth, that he is excited to watching their future roles developing.
