Fermin is not exactly a new guy. He got 61 PA’s in STL last year and hit .235.
I agree he is tearing it up in Memphis right now and deserves to be called up to STL since they are desperate for anyone who can hit the ball out of the infield. I mentioned the other day that Fermin should be on the STL roster isntead of Crawford. All of that “leadership” from Crawford and Carp doesn’t seem to be helping much anyway. I don’t think Fermin is an everyday player but he couldn’t be any worse than what we are getting out of 2B right now.
