In our last three playoff games
One in 2020 one in 2021 and today our starters have pitched 16 2/3 innings and allowed 2 ER and we have lost all 3 games! We have an ongoing bullpen problem, period! We are near the bottom of the teams in playoffs in bullpen Era and in today’s game it really doesn’t matter how good your starters are if your bullpen fails again and again as proven by the stat above
Which begs the question why Woodford was left off the roster. One of the only pitchers on the entire staff with a sub-3 ERA
