This team was cruising in first place until all of our pitching injuries hit. The offense isn’t great but it is good enough when our pitching is clicking. We overestimated our pitching depth, got rocked by injuries, and are paying the price. We don’t need to make the same mistake next year.
I agree we could use one more good LH bat but I would spend the rest of the money on pitching and more pitching.
