Given today’s news, I would think a smart strategy would be to start Carp at 3B and Edman at 2B, then bring up Gorman as soon as you can keep him for an extra year and play him full time there. In a punt year, I’d rather see Gorman hitting .150 than Carp doing the same. Give us a hint of the future.
