I get that it’s money. I also still think it’s weird that the Cards think they are poorer than every other team in MLB (except the Yankees, apparently) to the point that they’d risk all their prospects falling behind to save a Brad Miller’s worth of cost on a camp.
Maybe they’ll really do one in January or maybe they’ll still be too poor. Still, as a fan of the minor league Cards, as I’m sure you are too, it stinks.
