Does a team have the option to request more split squad games in ST? Or would that have to be requested a year or so in advance?
My thinking behind that question, the normal amount of games might not be enough to see all of the OF and BP options that the Cards need to sort out and no one should care about the ST record.
Goldy, Yadi, Wong and DeJong are the only lineup regulars that I would consider 100% set and/or don’t need to show they can still hit (Carpenter and Fowler).
The BP will be a very interesting situation to watch also. ST is almost here but I still wouldn’t be surprised if there is a last minute invite or two thrown out (why not right?). Or someone very unexpected throwing so well they can’t be left off the 26 man roster.
