The St. Louis Cardinals system went 3-1 on Sunday. The Cardinal Nation’s Player of the Day, Won-Bin Cho, went a career-best 4-for-5 with a triple, two runs, one RBI and a stolen base. Other standouts include James Naile, Edgar Escobar, Mike Antico and Tyler Reichenborn.

The Memphis Redbirds (34-29) were defeated by the Durham Bulls (TB, 36-27) on Sunday at AutoZone Park.
Michael McGreevy tossed three innings and was touched for three runs on eight hits and three walks. TCN’s no. 5 prospect fanned only one and took his first Triple-A loss. In his first rehab start, Packy Naughton only threw three pitches before he was taken out of the game.
The Bulls scored all seven runs between the second and third innings. In the fourth, Moisés Gómez blasted a solo homer, his 16th of the year. Taylor Motter hit a solo home run in the ninth, his third.
Out of the bullpen, James Naile pitched four scoreless innings on one hit and four strikeouts. Andrew Suárez fanned four in two innings of relief.
Matt Koperniak and Motter both recorded two hits. Koperniak doubled twice. The lineup had seven hits, one walk and went 0-for-7 with runners in scoring position.
On the bases, Kramer Robertson took his 12th bag of the year.
Memphis split the series 3-3 with the Bulls this week. They dropped to fourth place in the International League West.

The Springfield Cardinals (28-29) beat the Northwest Arkansas Naturals (KC, 21-36) at Hammons Field on Sunday night.
Starter Edgar Escobar yielded a run in five innings on three hits and three walks. The 26-year-old struck out two and is now 7-2 this season. Nick Trogrlic-Iverson tossed a scoreless sixth inning.
In the first, Springfield put up four runs. Chandler Redmond and Jacob Buchberger both drove in one run. Irving Lopez singled to plate two. In the sixth, Mike Antico doubled, advanced and came across on a sacrifice fly from Pedro Pagés.

Ryan Shreve gave up a run in two innings of relief. Chris Roycroft earned his first Double-A save after he pitched a scoreless ninth inning.
Antico went 3-for-5 with a double, two singles and two runs. Nick Dunn and Redmond walked twice. The lineup went 3-for-10 with runners in scoring position and left nine runners on base.
On the base paths, Antico took his 19th bag of the season.
The Cardinals went 5-1 against the Naturals this week. They are in third place and nine games behind Tulsa in the Texas League North.

The Peoria Chiefs (28-29) beat the Beloit Sky Carp (MIA, 24-32) on Sunday afternoon at Dozer Park.
Starter Dionys Rodriguez tossed four innings and surrendered two runs on five hits, two walks and four strikeouts. Gustavo Rodriguez earned his fifth win of the year after two scoreless innings with one strikeout and a walk.
After the Sky Carp scored two runs in the third, Tyler Reichenborn responded in the home half with his fourth homer of the year, a solo shot.

The Chiefs scored four runs in the fifth inning. Victor Scott II singled to plate the tying run. After a groundout and an error, two runs came across to make the score 4-2. Osvaldo Tovalin added one more with a single.
Out of the bullpen, Zane Mills threw two scoreless innings and struck out one. Andrew Marrero saved his seventh game of the season with two strikeouts in he ninth.
Reichenborn went 3-for-4 with a home run and Francisco went 2-for-4 with a double. The lineup recorded nine hits and three walks.
On the base paths, Reichenborn took two bags, was picked off and caught stealing. Scott took his 44th base of the year and Elijah Cabell stole his second.
Darlin Moquete made a throwing error, his second miscue of the season.
Peoria went 5-1 against the Sky Carp this week. They are four games back of first place Cedar Rapids in the Midwest League West.

The Palm Beach Cardinals (34-23) topped the Jupiter Hammerheads (MIA, 31-26) at Roger Dean Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Pete Hansen pitched five innings and surrendered one run on five hits and three walks. TCN’s no. 11 prospect fanned three and earned his fifth win of the season.
The Beach Birds scored all six runs in the first two innings. In the first, Won-Bin Cho singled and R.J. Yeager blasted a two-run homer, his sixth of the season. Joshua Baez doubled in two runs to make the score 4-0.

After the Hammerheads hit a solo homer in the bottom half, the Cardinals put up two runs in the second. Cho tripled home a run and came across on a balk.
In relief, Joseph King tossed four scoreless frames with two hits, two walks and two strikeouts. The right-hander saved his third game of 2023.
Cho went 4-for-5 with a triple and three singles. TCN’s no. 22 prospect came across twice and drove one in. Baez had two hits and two RBI. The lineup went 3-for-17 with runners in scoring position.
In Cho’s career day, he also stole a bag, his 15th. Baez stole his seventh.
Brandon Hernandez and Lizandro Espinoza both committed errors.
Palm Beach went 4-2 against the Hammerheads this week. They are in first place by three games in the Florida State League East.
