The St. Louis Cardinals system went 6-0 on Thursday. The Cardinal Nation’s Player of the Day, Masyn Winn, was a triple shy of the cycle with four hits, a walk, three RBI and four runs scored. Other standouts include Victor Scott, Chris Rotondo, Benjamin Arias and Keiverson Ramirez.

Tying their season high in runs scored, the Memphis Redbirds (54-51) destroyed the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp (MIA, 47-57) on Thursday night at AutoZone Park.
Gordon Graceffo tossed three innings and gave up five runs on seven hits and three walks. TCN’s no. 5 prospect fanned one. Chris Roycroft earned his second Triple-A win after he surrendered a run in two innings on a hit, four walks and two punchouts.
After Jacksonville scored four runs in the first, the Redbirds responded with three runs in the bottom half. Juan Yepez singled home a run and Matt Koperniak blasted a two-run home run, his eighth for Memphis.

Jacob Barnes pitched two scoreless innings with one strikeout. To close the game, Guillermo Zuñiga threw two scoreless frames.
The Redbirds put up 12 runs between the third and fourth innings. Moisés Gómez gave Memphis the lead in the third with an RBI double. Tres Barrera hit a three-run homer to make the score 9-5. Chase Pinder singled and brought in two with a single.

In the fourth inning, Nick Dunn recorded an RBI single. Kramer Robertson was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded and Winn walked. Luken Baker doubled to plate two and Yepez brought in one more via groundout to make the score 17-5.
Named International League Player of the Month earlier in the day, Winn celebrated on the field. He was a triple shy of the cycle after he went 4-for-5 with a walk, three RBI and four runs scored. Dunn was 3-for-4 with a walk, two runs and an RBI. Pinder, Baker and Koperniak recorded two hits apiece. The lineup had 15 hits and took seven free passes.
In the field, Barnes committed a throwing error.

The Springfield Cardinals (17-13) walked off the Northwest Arkansas Naturals (KC, 14-15) at Hammons Field on Thursday.
Starter Brandon Komar pitched 5 2/3 innings with two runs, one earned, surrendered on seven hits, three walks and four strikeouts.
In the first inning, the Naturals scored a run but the Cardinals answered in the third when a wild pitch brought in Victor Scott. Springfield took a 3-2 lead in the fifth. Irving Lopez brought in a run via sacrifice fly and Aaron Antonini gave the Cardinals the lead with a single.
Out of the bullpen, Ryan Shreve tossed 2 1/3 scoreless frames with three strikeouts. Andre Granillo received his third win despite yielding two unearned runs in the ninth inning.
Mike Antico gave the Cardinals a two-run lead in the eighth with an RBI single. NW Arkansas tied the game in the ninth. In the home half, newcomer Thomas Saggese doubled and advanced to third. Lopez brought him in via single to win the game.
The lineup recorded 13 hits and three walks. Scott went 3-for-5 with two runs scored. Arquímedes Gamboa also had three hits. Saggese doubled, walked three times and came across twice. The lineup left 13 runners on base but the pitching struck out nine batters.
On the base paths, Gamboa and Scott both took two bags and Antico took one. Noah Mendlinger was caught stealing and Gamboa was picked off and caught stealing. In the field, Saggese and Gamboa each committed an error. Komar picked a runner off.
Friday’s game: vs. NW Arkansas, RHP Tink Hence (2-1, 2.25) vs. LHP Drew Farrish (2-2, 5.40) 7:05 CT
The Peoria Chiefs (18-15) beat the Quad Cities River Bandits (KC, 12-21) on Thursday at Dozer Park.
Inohan Paniagua yielded two runs in three innings on three hits and three walks. TCN’s no. 22 prospect struck out five. In relief, Joseph King earned his third High-A win after three scoreless frames with three punchouts.
The River Bandits put up one run in the first but Peoria responded with two in the home half. Chris Rotondo blasted his first High-A homer, a two-run shot. In the fifth, Rotondo hit another two-run home run to make the score 4-2.

Edwin Nunez tossed two scoreless innings. Andrew Marrero closed out the game with a hitless ninth and two strikeouts.
In the eighth, Peoria added two insurance runs. Nathan Church scored on a wild pitch and Rotondo came home as Jimmy Crooks grounded out.
Rotondo went 2-for-2 with two walks, two home runs, four RBI and three runs scored. Church recorded two hits and two runs scored. Crooks and Church both doubled.
Brody Moore committed a fielding error.

The Palm Beach Cardinals (14-17) topped the Jupiter Hammerheads (MIA, 15-18) as the home club at The Ballpark of the Palm Beaches.
Starter Benjamin Arias tossed seven scoreless innings with only one hit and one walk given up. The 21-year-old struck out seven and earned his second Low-A win.
In the third inning, Michael Curialle drove in one with a double and Chase Davis singled to plate one. Lizandro Espinoza blasted a two-run homer in the fourth, his sixth of the season. Joshua Baez stole third and scored on an error in the fifth to extend the Beach Birds’ lead to 5-0.
Out of the bullpen, Tanner Jacobson yielded one run in two innings on three hits, one walk and four strikeouts.
Zach Levenson hit his first professional home run in the seventh, a two-run shot. Davis came across on an error to make the score 8-0.
The lineup recorded seven hits, six walks and went 4-for-9 with runners in scoring position. Curialle had the only multi-hit game with two. Espinoza and Levenson both homered.
On the base paths, Joshua Baez took two bags to bring his total to 18 this season.

FCL Cardinals 8, FCL Nationals 4 (7 innings)
In a seven-inning contest, the Florida Complex League Cardinals (15-23) topped the Nationals (17-19) on Thursday morning at Roger Dean Stadium.
Starter Chen-Wei Lin made his professional debut with two innings pitched and one run given up. The 21-year-old from Taiwan fanned three. In his pro debut, 2023 draft pick Jacob Odle yielded one run in the third inning with two punchouts.
After the Nationals put up one run in the first, the Cardinals answered with five runs in the home half. Felix Taveras singled in a run to tie the game. Jose Cordoba scored on an error, Taveras came across after Anyelo Encarnacion grounded into a forceout and Luis Pino was brought in after another Nats error. Miguel Vargas doubled to make the score 5-1.
Omar Yanez was touched for two runs in 1 2/3 innings on five hits and three strikeouts. Miguel Martinez recorded a scoreless 1/3 of an inning. Chandler Arnold earned the win after he tossed two scoreless frames with four strikeouts.
In the third inning, Romtres Cabrera brought a run in via double. Pino singled to plate one in the fourth and Taveras scored on a balk to make the score 8-3.
Cabrera recorded two doubles and one RBI. Pino scored two runs. Seven of the Cardinal starters had a hit in the seven-inning game. The lineup went 5-for-15 with runners in scoring position.
On the bases, Encarnacion, Cabrera and Javier Bolivar all stole one bag. In the field, Vargas committed an error. Cordoba threw a runner out at third from left field.
Dylan Crews, the 2023 number two pick for the Nationals, went 3-for-3 with a double and two singles in his professional debut.

DSL Cardinals 6 at DSL Twins 3 (7 innings)
The Dominican Summer League Cardinals (12-29) defeated the Twins (9-31) in a seven-inning game on Thursday morning.
Yadiel Batista pitched three innings and surrendered three runs on six hits and one strikeout. In relief, Keiverson Ramirez earned his first professional win after he tossed 3 2/3 scoreless innings with four punchouts. Emisael Carrera recorded a scoreless 1/3 of an inning.
After the Twins took a 3-0 lead in the third inning, the Cardinals stormed back. With the help of struggles by the Twins battery, they plated all six runs in the last two frames. Daniel Rojas came across on a wild pitch in the sixth and Heriberto Caraballo tied the game with an RBI double. Hancel Almonte scored on a passed ball. In the seventh, Elias Reynoso and Jesus Peraza both came home on passed balls.
Caraballo and Reynoso had the only Cardinals hits. A. Batista and Yodalin Pena walked twice. The lineup recorded two hits, seven walks and left three runners on base.
Almonte was caught stealing. Y. Batista picked off two runners.
