The St. Louis Cardinals system was quiet on Wednesday, as Memphis’ road game was postponed due to rain.
Memphis at Indianapolis (postponed)
The Triple-A game between the Memphis Redbirds and Indianapolis Indians scheduled on Wednesday, April 3 was postponed due to inclement weather.
The forecast was a major factor in the Cardinals canceling Sonny Gray’s rehab start with Memphis that had been scheduled for this evening.
The postponed game will be played as part of a doubleheader at some time during this series, as weather permits.
Thursday’s game: at Indianapolis, RHP Victor Santos (system debut) vs. Michael Plassmeyer LHP (0-0, 2.25) (if Wednesday’s starters go), 5:35 CT.
