Tekoah Roby started for the Scorpions. The Cardinal Nation’s no. 6 prospect pitched three scoreless innings with one hit allowed and struck out five.
Hjerpe relieved Roby. Our number seven Cardinals prospect threw one scoreless, hitless inning, with one strikeout.
Granillo pitched the seventh and eighth innings. Both innings were scoreless with two hits and a walk allowed. The right-hander, our no. 37 prospect, struck out an impressive five.
