The Glendale Desert Dogs lost to the Mesa Solar Sox in Tuesday AFL action. Outfielder Travis Honeyman went 0-for-4 but walked and scored. Tyler Bradt and Randel Clemente each pitched an inning of relief with a lot of traffic on the bases but only one run allowed.

Glendale Desert Dogs 6 at Mesa Solar Sox 11
The Desert Dogs fell to the Solar Sox by the score of 11-6 on Tuesday. Outfielder Travis Honeyman was in the starting lineup. Right-handers Tyler Bradt and Randel Clemente pitched in relief.
Honeyman played in center field and hit fourth for the Desert Dogs. He went 0-for-4 with a walk, a run scored and two strikeouts.
In his first at bat, Honeyman lined out to center field for the final out of the first inning. He struck out swinging in the fourth.
Honeyman grounded out to second in the sixth. He struck out swinging in the seventh. In the ninth, Honeyman drew a walk, advanced to second on a wild pitch, and scored on a single. Honeyman has an .083 average and a .475 OPS to date in AFL action.
Tyler Bradt relieved in the fourth inning. He gave up singles to the first two batters, then retired the next two on a fly out and line out. He walked the next batter to load the bases. Bradt struck out his final batter to the end the inning with no runs scored. His final line was 1IP 2H 0R 0ER 1BB 1K. Bradt has a 6.23 ERA to date in the AFL.
Randel Clemente pitched the eighth inning. He retired the first batter on a pop out. He gave up a single to the next hitter, walked the third batter and gave up a single to the fourth hitter that scored a run. He walked another batter, then retired the last two batters with a strike out swinging and a line out to left field. His final line was 1IP 2H 1R 1ER 2BB 1K. Clemente has an ERA of 6.75 currently in the AFL.
No other Cardinal saw action.
The Desert Dogs are 4-12 on the season and are in last place.
