In Tuesday AFL action, the Glendale Desert Dogs dropped a twin bill at the Surprise Saguaros. Graysen Tarlow doubled in three at-bats. Miguel Ugueto went 1-for-7 with three strikeouts and Tyler Bradt yielded three runs in 1/3 of an inning.

Glendale Desert Dogs 3 at Surprise Saguaros 6 (seven innings, game one)
The Desert Dogs fell to the Saguaros by a 6-3 score on Tuesday in the first game of a twin bill. Left fielder Miguel Ugueto hit eighth in the lineup. Right-hander Tyler Bradt pitched 1/3 of an inning out of the bullpen.
Ugueto went 0-for-3 with a strikeout. In his first at bat in the second inning, he grounded out to the shortstop. In the fourth, Ugueto grounded out to third base. In the sixth, he was called out on strikes.
Bradt pitched out of the bullpen to begin the sixth. He gave up three runs on three singles and two walks before getting an out on a strikeout. He was replaced for the final two outs.
No other Cardinal saw action.
Glendale Desert Dogs 4 at Surprise Saguaros 6 (seven innings, game two)
The Desert Dogs lost the second game of the twin bill to the Saguaros by the score of 6-4. Miguel Ugueto played in the second game as well, this time in center field hitting seventh. Catcher Graysen Tarlow hit in the ninth spot.
Ugueto went 1-for-4 with two strikeouts. In the second inning, he singled on a fly ball to right field but was stranded at first base. Ugueto struck out on a foul tip in the fourth.
Ugueto struck out swinging in the sixth. In the seventh, he grounded into a force for the final out of the game.
Tarlow went 1-for-3 with a strikeout. His first at bat was in the second and he flied out to left field for the final out of the inning. In the fourth, Tarlow doubled on a line drive to left field, but did not score. He struck out swinging in the sixth.
No other Cardinals appeared in the game.
The Desert Dogs are 3-8 on the season.
