The American League Fall Stars walked off the National League Fall Stars in the 2025 Arizona Fall League Fall Stars Game.

Two St. Louis Cardinals prospects played in the game. Miguel Ugueto took over center field in the sixth inning and slotted into the lead-off spot. Darlin Saladin took the mound in relief.

Ugueto was 1-for-2 with a stolen base and two RBI in the contest. He entered the game on defense in the bottom of the sixth inning and played the remainder of the contest.

In his first at-bat in the seventh, Ugueto struck out swinging, with the runner at first base picked off for a double play.

With the NL Fall Stars down 4-2 in the ninth, Ugueto stepped into the batter’s box with runners at second and third base and singled to score both runners and tie the game at four.

Ugueto swiped second base and moved to third base on a groundout but was unable to score.

Saladin took the mound in the bottom of the ninth, looking to keep the 4-4 tie.

The right-hander issued a walk to his first hitter and then allowed a single. Saladin walked the following batter to load the bases with no outs.

The 22-year-old induced a flyball for a sacrifice fly as the AL Fall Stars won in walk-off fashion. Saladin recorded just one out and allowed one earned run on one hit, two walks and no strikeouts. He took the loss and threw 19 pitches, eight for strikes.

The third Cardinal prospect on the roster, RHP Chen-Wei Lin, did not see action in the game.
