Cardinals Adjust Springfield Roster Heading into Playoffs

On Monday, September 18, the St. Louis Cardinals replaced a reliever put on the injured list and promoted a standout trio from Peoria to Springfield for the Texas League playoffs. This also gives the latter three an early taste of their possible 2024 season opening assignment.
