AutoZone Park Ranked Second in all of MiLB

If you haven’t been to Memphis lately, it is time. The renovations directed by new Memphis Redbirds owner St. Louis Cardinals to AutoZone Park have taken the city-owner Redbirds’ home to a new level. And that says something about a stadium that was already superior to several current big-league venues.

The changes have been affirmed by those in the game. AutoZone Park is ranked No. 2 on the list of the nation’s Best Ballparks in the Minors. The national publication Baseball America surveyed more than 100 minor league general managers, radio announcers, league observers, and others involved in the game about the best ballparks to help create a top 25 ranking.

AutoZone Park recently underwent a $6.5 million offseason renovation that added significant state-of-the-art features and fan-friendly amenities. Enhancements include LED ribbon boards; a Left Field Video Wall; two new TruGreen “Bluffs” inside the main seating bowl; a destination bar in Left Field; an expanded Home Plate Club; the addition of the 4-Tops Table Seating; the stadium’s first All-Inclusive Redbird Club; and last but not least, a playing field replacement.
