Surprised but happy to see it. Could be easily gone off the 40 man roster by mid September as we bring Leone and Wainwright off the 60 day DL. Of course we can always remove Bowman and/or maybe Dexter will go on the 60 day DL.
Well deserved Patrick Wisdom. He had a great year last year at Memphis. Criticisms of him have been his low batting average and contact. Well, his average has been around .300 all year. The only thing remains is that he strikes out too much, but he does have good power, and is solid defensively.
Good for Patrick! I hope he does really well in his shot and parlays it into a full time MLB chance after the year.
The Cardinals now have 11 players on the DL which I would assume ranks pretty high n MLB. Thank goodness for Memphis.
