Anxious to see the lineup for tonights game. I do agree with BikeMike’s assessment that DeJong needs to be moved out of the #3 slot. Seems like the league has caught up to him at this point, he seems to keep swinging and missing at low pitches, especially the breaking ones. Hope he doesn’t turn out to be another Grichuk.

Lynn looks awful! This is the Lynn that will throw 100 pitches through 5 innings. The one that this team doesn’t want to pay for.

Error by Wong followed by the bonehead throw by Molina to 2nd and now a hit by Gordon. Bases Loaded and no one out.
Lynn laughs it off during visit to the mound. Trainer probably told him good thing he’s got a steel nugget.
Hammel’s backdoor curves aren’t going to work much longer. 1st pitch always a big curve to edge of the plate, third strike all down and away. Cards swinging at a lot of balls off the plate. Time to shut that down.
Can’t believe how well Lynn absorbed that blow. I wonder how thick his skull is? 😉
Cards have been playing great recently, but the defense has reverted to circus clown mode tonight. We need some of that newfound offense to kick in again soon.
Cecil gives up 2 hits and K’s Gordon and the move is made to Oh with Butera and likely lefty Brandon Moss as a PH unless a DP happens.
The offense clearly has the number of KC pitching. I have defended the bullpen when forced to work with small/no leads, but they have to get the job done with a three run cushion and six outs to go.
