RHP Sonny Gray (9-3, 3.51) vs. TBA
FanDuel // KMOX // WIJRAnd into the All-Star Break…
July 12, 2025 at 7:27 pm #287127Would be nice to win this one and stay five games over .500 at the All Star Break. Gray gives us our best chance of the series.
Din-din this day will be a Ribeye steak in the air fryer, some crispy fast food french fries, some deviled eggs, applesauce, an ice cold slushy Mt. Dew, and a piece of banana cream pie from the Amish restaurant.

July 13, 2025 at 11:45 am #287152Ivan back in the lineup hitting 2nd. Winn moves to 6th. Let us see if they rush Ivan back or not. It is only one game before the break.
Noot with a possible IL stint. Been rumored he’s been ailing for a few weeks and played through it.

jj-cf-stlParticipantPozo and Gorman should no better than showing out yesterday. Have a seat!
July 13, 2025 at 12:28 pm #287158Folks,
We are in a world of sh~t if we have Sagesse hitting 5th in our lineup.Unbelievable…….
July 13, 2025 at 12:41 pm #287160There’s a lot of green stuff just north of downtown St. Louis at the moment. And some other small cells in the area. We will be lucky if there is not a delay at some point in this one.
Stay tuned…….
July 13, 2025 at 12:59 pm #287161Some lineup, huh?
July 13, 2025 at 1:21 pm #287165Those grandstands look as unoccupied as an abandoned property. Lonesome in the loge section.
July 13, 2025 at 1:26 pm #287167Herrera hasn’t hasn’t forgot anything.
July 13, 2025 at 1:29 pm #287168Rat, I don’t think anyone is suggesting that Saggesse is the next Bill Madlock but who would you suggest should be hitting 5th today? We don’t have many options since Arenado is hurt again.
July 13, 2025 at 1:30 pm #287169Herrera is definitely our best hitter. Losing him the last few weeks was an absolute killer. Probably the difference from being a seller instead of a buyer.
July 13, 2025 at 1:51 pm #287171Scott with and inf hit and Winn scores from 2nd. 1-0
Hey we got more all-stars than Donny. Chris Conroy and out visiting clubhouse attendant are going as well.
July 13, 2025 at 3:07 pm #287174Haven’t seen a drop of rain out here a little west of the ballpark since early this morning. In any case, looks like they’re about to get back on the field.
July 13, 2025 at 3:25 pm #287177Haha…Another squall’s suddenly boiled up and as soon as they get the tarp off the IF the ground’s crew has to unfurl it again. Looks like work to me. They’ll be out of steam if this keeps up. It doesn’t take long at all down there next to the river. It can be like a rain forest down there in the summertime. I recall when I was working, I was involved in several projects in the downtown area and it seemed a like a short 10 minute T-Storm would cut loose every day at about the time we were walking to our trucks to go home. You’d stay dry all day long and then get soaked for the ride home…Haha!
July 13, 2025 at 3:29 pm #287178Harris got turned around so many times he looked like he was trying out for the Spinners out there in CF…Rubber Band Man!
July 13, 2025 at 4:22 pm #287182About to get swept via rain delay. Lol
July 13, 2025 at 4:34 pm #287183If it weren’t for it only being the visitor half of the 5th, I’d say there’d be a good chance, booyah. In any case, it’s finally begun to rain at out house now, and I’d guess that it’s headed in a downtown direction. They may scrap this one, but it won’t be a final at this stage.
July 13, 2025 at 4:46 pm #287184The Cubbies and Brewers both win their games today to send a strong message that any race in the NLC will be an exclusive one except for those two teams. And the Rockies lose their final game before the break to place them at 52 games below .500 before the two leagues play the All Star game…My goodness!
July 13, 2025 at 4:53 pm #287185I’ll be darned…The Red Sox hang their 10th consecutive W up on the board today to inch to within 3.5 games off the pace in ALE. I’d have to guess that the fans in Boston will demand some sort of positive action before the end of July.
July 13, 2025 at 4:58 pm #287187Meanwhile, our Redbirds are 3-7 in their last 10 games and slumbering through today’s 3rd rain delay during their last game prior to the break…Ho hum.
July 13, 2025 at 6:38 pm #287226Every one of these faithful Cardinal fans that have persevered and hung around thru these multiple rain delays should receive a free hot dog…Maybe Billy Jr. will have a heart and feed the faithful few that continue to occupy and wander the ballpark while wet and hungry, but it’s highly doubtful…Haha!
July 13, 2025 at 6:48 pm #287228Contreras ties it up with the 2 out, 2 RBI, dying quail double that falls in front of Acuna in RF. Now, it’ll rain again…
July 13, 2025 at 6:59 pm #287230Nice job by Graceffo striking out Acuna 2 nights in a row and then going on to get 2 more K’s. And a huge homer by Fermin who has been hitting very well.
It sounds like the Cardinals are going to go ahead and call up Liam Doyle to pitch the final 3 innings tonight.
July 13, 2025 at 7:25 pm #287235Saggese has looked far better against lefties than righties recently.
