RHP Erick Fedde (3-5, 3.82) vs. RHP Dustin May
FanDuel // KMOX // WIJRJune 7, 2025 at 4:10 am #284289Just curious here.
The DBacks/Reds game was the Apple TV game last night. It was suspended in the 7th inning with the score tied 3-3. It’s being restarted about two hours before the regularly scheduled game. Does that mean Apple TV will cover the last two innings? Or will the actual Reds broadcast finish out the game?
June 7, 2025 at 5:12 am #284290Checking the meteorological conditions with the Doppler Radar shows another big pile of green stuff heading towards the St. Louis area about now. Assume it will be out of the metropolitan St. Louis area well before 1st pitch.
June 7, 2025 at 5:54 am #284291Sweet weather report, Rat…….very nice.
Dustin Jake May. Tall(6’6) drink of water from the great State of Texas. Drafted by the Dodgers in the 3rd round of the 2016 draft. His wife(Millie) saved this big lug from choking to death on of all things……a piece of lettuce……which leaves one to believe that if a small fragment of lettuce nearly defeated this fellow, how would he fare vs the booming bats of the St. Louis Cardinals? You have to be thinking sweep in this series, as these Dodgers are indeed sweepable. Taking 2-3 just isn’t good enough.
And what’s for din-din tonight one may ask? I think I’ll definitely pass on the lettuce salad and opt for a nice big piece of medium-rare prime rib. And you’re missing the boat if you don’t dip your prime rib bites into melted butter. I’ll add some asparagus spears and baked beans into the culinary equation and top matters off with trip to the drive-thru lane at Popeye’s to grab 3 apple cinnamon pies.
June 7, 2025 at 6:27 am #284292Here’s my thoughts on Texas, Dom. Instead of building the border wall in the southwest, they should build it around Texas. Than put all the convicted violent offenders, gang members, child molesters, terrorists, and drug dealers in there. You will have to include a couple thousand dirty politicians (you will have plenty to choose from) to run the place. Because there’s no guards on the inside. Put the guards on the outside, and if they try to escape, shoot them. So the great thing about this, you put cameras everywhere and video them. Understand, they are going to have to create their own society and build their own housing and find food. Kind of like the Indians did. Than you sell the video to reality TV to finance the policing of the outside wall. PS Unfortunately Rat, it looks like heavy rain right around game time, but I do love your glass full approach. And please smoke a cigar for me. I was forced to stop, and I grieve their passing daily.
June 7, 2025 at 10:05 am #284303It is Yamamoto on the mound for this one now with them moving him after the rain delay game. This is likely the most difficult of the 3 now to win in my opinion. Kershaw on the mound tomorrow, but he isn’t quite his younger self at the moment. I assume McGreevy for the Cards tomorrow although they could go with Pallante.
June 7, 2025 at 11:26 am #284314I would like to see McGreevy tomorrow ATM. Pallante needs an extra day. Kershaw was one of the better pitchers the last 10 years and always seemed like a class act.

June 7, 2025 at 12:04 pm #284318The Doppler Radar shows there is green stuff still in the St. Louis area. I am afraid this one might see another delay. Stay tuned.
And the Giants beat the Braves 5-4 in 10 innings last night at Candlestick. The winning run scored with two outs on a wild pitch.
June 7, 2025 at 12:45 pm #284322What, no Arenado in the lineup today???
June 7, 2025 at 1:58 pm #284325No matter how this inning turns out, I’m not at all bothered about the BB to Freddie.
June 7, 2025 at 2:04 pm #284326That scorching line drive from Smith that was just barely foul was a little scary, but Fedde works out of trouble.
June 7, 2025 at 2:24 pm #284328Has an opposing baserunner been CS at all this season?
June 7, 2025 at 2:29 pm #284329Packed house in here today…
June 7, 2025 at 3:28 pm #284332Winn with a lead-off base hit the 8th. Move him over and push him across.
June 7, 2025 at 3:29 pm #284333Now Donovan with a base hit in front of Contreras.
June 7, 2025 at 3:33 pm #284334
jj-cf-stlParticipantLate and tied. Who wants to be a star?
June 7, 2025 at 3:34 pm #284335Outstanding baserunning from Winn for the lead!
June 7, 2025 at 3:35 pm #284336
jj-cf-stlParticipantWho has the Maalox? C’mon, hand it over.
June 7, 2025 at 3:35 pm #284337Good to see another fan on here. For a minute I thought it was an across the board blackout…Haha!
June 7, 2025 at 3:41 pm #284338Boy oh boy…Bad break.
June 7, 2025 at 3:44 pm #284339
jj-cf-stlParticipantIt’s worst case so far, oh for a DP ball.
June 7, 2025 at 3:47 pm #284340Can’t catch a break.
June 7, 2025 at 3:48 pm #284341
jj-cf-stlParticipantAnother blown save for Helsley.
June 7, 2025 at 3:49 pm #284342Great baserunning by Winn in the 8th to sneak a run in.
Pages absolutely has to block that ball though. He got lazy with it and didn’t put his whole body in front of it. It was a wild pitch by definition, but Pages himself will tell you he should have blocked that.
