This one is almost a must win. And with Sale going it’s most likely a loss.

Milwaukee won again today. They sweep Texas with their win today. We will either be 6 out or 7 out after close of business tonight.

At least I can enjoy watching the Cubs lose again tonight in San Francisco.

Sale is not pitching. The Braves pushed him back to tommorrow I believe.

I would not call this even almost a “must win.” That is a little drastic for a June 26th game. It would be great to split the twin bill, but a loss is certainly not devastating.

Until Willson is back in the groove I would have put him a little lower. I would go this way for now:

    Winn
    Donovan
    Burleson
    Goldschmidt
    Contreras
    Arenado
    Gorman
    Pages
    Siani

Liberatore is so frustrating. If you could draw up the perfect physical build for a lh pitcher, he’s it. But he just can’t seem to learn to pitch. I’m not giving up.

I’d say the June batter of the month is a race between Burly and Donny.

Donnys really stepped up and Burlys really been key lately. Great to see him having success. Couple others need to really step it up too. Still need 5 runs a game to move ahead of the rest of the Central Pack. Certainly doable.

Really good game against one of the better NL teams for Liberatore. I love to see it and BikeMike and I are the crazies wanting him to get more starts.

6 innings with 8 Ks, 1 BB, and 2 hits against Atlanta. Certainly better than I expected today and certainly more pitches. Libby has good potential and is only 24.

Just now got the chance to tune in and check the box to see the real nice pitching line for Liberatore thru 6 innings. Why aren’t we seeing him for the 7th?

1TD, I’m surprised Liberatore even went 85 pitches since his arm isn’t fully built up since he has been spending time in the bullpen.

Oh, okay. I thought he might be hurt. Yeah, have to build his arm up so he doesn’t suffer any infirmities. I’m thinking 85 pitches must be the new magic number for that.

I don’t think Liberatore had thrown more than 65 pitches in a game this year before tonight.

I see that Burleson’s 2 RBI double came with 2 outs. Those are killers for the enemy.

As a fan, it is annoying watching a RP start an inning, get 2 outs with maybe a runner or 2 allowed to then get taken out for yet another RP for the last out. I wouldn’t personally mind seeing them extend the minimum batter rule to 5 or a full innings pitched.
