I think those error messages are a Saturday issue. I cannot post my regular comments but for some reason or other this one goes through.

Is there some kind of server maintenance that happens on Saturday?

17 games in a row starting yesterday. It’s a 6man rotation until an off day.

Cards should flex their muscles tonight. These cubs are the epitomy of mediocrity. I can’t wait to see how Mikolas looks. Din-din this evening is shaping up to be wild jumbo shrimp cocktail, creamed chipped beef over white toast, olive salad, 3 Popeye’s apple cinnamon pies and lemonade. How was your rack of lamb last night, Bling?

Pugs last night was a false alarm. Its tonight. Last night was all vegies.

Last night was the first game I watched on TV this season and we went off a cliff. So maybe I will tune in KMOX again tonight instead. My son was at the game. He said the crowd was announced 24,000 and change and a good many stuck it out. He said the rooftops across the street thinned out though.

Not many seats left for tonight, Sunday looks like there are quite a few.

Predict MM’s stat line tonight. I’ll say 4 IP, 3 hits, a walk 0 ER.

Starters need 5 days rest to go 6 innings. Sweet gig.

Yea it’s amazing how much rest these guys need. I wish regular workers got this much rest and that much pay.

Edmundo Sosa is rapidly ascending on my list of modern day favorite Cardinals. He is now perched on my #9 branch, behind Kim, Reyes, Goldy, Yadi, Cabby, Arenado, Carlson and Edman. Besides Mikolas, the key player tonight is Dylan Carlson. The kid needs to start driving the ball with better authority….the way he is more than capable of putting on full display. No way the Cards lose this game. I’ll call it 6-4 Birds

The middle to bottom part of our order hasnt been getting it done, molina and bader have both went cold and Williams has been cold. Sosa has hit but he’s at the tail end for some reason. I’d at least switch him and bader.

    You’re a fast reader, JBrodie7.

That news sure burst my bubble tonight. And it certainly changes my prediction. I’ll call it 5-4 Birds.

Just finished the lamb chops. Nice cognac deglaze sauce. Garlic roasted asparagus with caramelized onions. Desert was the first of the strawberries from the back yard. I get real food again when I hit 30 lbs lost. Its getting harder, but that dinner was inspirational.

Mikolas has lost a lot mph on his pitches. In 2018 his fastball was around 98. Today its around 90. YIKES!
