The 2019 Cardinals Hall of Fame Induction class includes Cardinals legends Scott Rolen, Jason Isringhausen and Mort Cooper. The ceremony will be held at Ballpark Village at 3 pm, and is free to the public. Doors open at 11 am.
The Cards have never faced Gonzalez, which never bodes too well. Hopefully they got some of the “unfamiliar RHP” bad mojo purged last night and will knock this guy around tonight. Gotta keep the pressure on the Cubs while they are facing the Nats, who have been hot.
Something special about a ball game on a Saturday night isn’t there? Teams doing good. Got one of our best pitchers up. Home game and a very good chance of wining. Doesn’t get much better than that. Go Cardinals!
Hopefully the Cardinals can keep it rolling.

The Nats down the Cubs again today by the score of 7-2. We can be 1.5 games up after tonight if we are victorious.

Nice when the first two hitters get on. Chance for a couple of runs. 2-0, and the Rockies have to fight back.
Seven walks helps. That was the first run not driven in by a hit tonight. Only three hits to five runs.
I’ll take em any way we can get em. Didn’t know we only have 4 hits though. Hope our bull pen holds on. Wong just got hurt-oh no.

Nice to see the offense and pitching do well again. Even Leone has looked good here in the 9th. He was dominant in Memphis so if he can even be a middle reliever and provide solid results that would be a great boost to the pen. Man, that stuff was filthy there as he finishes it off, 6-0!! 1.5 game lead.
Fouled a ball off his foot. Had to be helped down the stairs by trainers.
The Cards now have more wins in the ghost uniforms than the powder blue uniforms.

Based on previous medical history with the Cardinals we’ll find out tomorrow they’ll have to amputate his toe.
Kolten Wong says there is no fracture in big toe, just a lot of pain and swelling and bleeding that needed to be alleviated by drilling a hole in the nail. He’s on crutches. Out for several days, but encouraged by initial x-rays. #cardinals
