Depending on your feedback, I may do this every 10 days to two weeks.
If my feedback counts, I would love to see this type of coverage done on a regular basis. I like that its production based and is limited to top-20 prospects. Perhaps a paragraph on #s 21 to 50 would be helpful to assess the prospects that are destined for the top-20 in the future.
Mendoza has yet to kick his offense into high gear.
Mendoza started last season red-hot at Palm Beach and continued that with his promotion to Springfield on May 18th. His numbers after that were good but down from April and May. Like you stated, he should be ready to kick it up because the guy can hit as evidenced from his prior career numbers at AA. You can add to that that he has played 120 innings at 1B and 54 innings at 3B with only 2 errors. The new versatility can be added to his resume. He just squeezed into the top-20 with Hudson’s graduation and he should be a guy to keep an eye on.
