Yes, your avid support of Martinez was impossible to forget. While we did not agree about his potential, I was probably almost as surprised as you about his release. Perhaps it says more about the quality of the young catchers coming up from behind, though I suspect it was driven by Pena staying, and bumping Joe Hudson down. We will find out if that theory is correct when we see the opening rosters.
