I don’t see how this team can make any sort of push without dealing for multiple players, trading guys and moving players around the diamond which may create some sore feelings. I just don’t see one guy making a impact. Even Machado or Aranado. I’d honestly question Beltre’s impact. It would seem as if we just add another just slightly above league average bat to the lineup that will have his peaks and valleys. Have too many of those currently.
If they did even pull the trigger on 3-4 guys and kick 3-4 guys off the current roster to the curb. How’s that effect team chemistry? How long would it take an overhaul to get the roster to gel? By the time that happens we’d might be 10 games out of the division.
