The organization seems to love DGonzalez’ pitching style and project him to be a AAA starter when he comes off his rehab. Not likely to come off the 40-man.
Greene after starting 10 games for Springfield in April and May with mostly solid performances. He walked too many which cut into his effectiveness (48.2IP 32BB 43K 4.44ERA and 1.54 WHIP baters hit but 2.42 against him. Now in Memphis’ bullpen he has pitched a mere 11.0inn in June (12BB 8K but has retained a low BA at .222). You can see how the free passes hurts him.
I don’t know if he is headed to become a member of the MEM express, but it sure looks like it. I’m thinking that he is destined to lose his spot on the 40-man roster and his place in the organization.
