Long ago in the 70s I heard a grisly old roving coach telling some young hitters that the problem with a repeatable swing is its repeatable to the pitcher too and he can pitch around it. I don’t know what they teach now, but not that. The point being it won’t help to draft them if they turn out like Walker and Gorman.
