Just like I have explained to you that teams have NOTHING to do with MLB team depth charts, the same thing applies to MLB Pipeline prospect rankings. Yet you doggedly hold onto these myths with nothing to back it.
That is two very different scenarios for
1) look ahead needs assessment,
2) acquisitions planning
3) and roster planning in the upper system.
1) So you are asserting they are not adding other players? In the draft?
Funny, they drafted a lot of pitchers this year and last year and the year before.
2) So they aren’t going to acquire pitchers in trade as a result?
Last time they sold at the deadline, they added seven minor league pitchers.
3) So these pitchers are blocking others?
Please explain which pitchers are deserving of promotion but did not receive them. Which worthy pitchers were released so the Cards could keep the injured guys?
This is a lot of arm waving, IMO.
