Ages can be misleading when comparing high school drafted to college drafted players. For example, was Wetherholt’s experience at West Virginia comparable to Gorman playing in the low minors at the same age?
Gorman, Walker and Liberatore (plus Winn) were all HS players. So were Roby, Hence and Saggese, among others.
