That 2020 draft was impossible. I can hardly wait to see what Ian Bedell is really capable of. The Cardinals are certainly a class organization. They will not rush a player because of a perceived immediate need if they don’t fell like he’s up to where they want him to be physically.
LJ Jones is one of my favorites. It’s really not much of a back story, not really. But I remember reading after the 2020 draft that he wanted to be drafted so badly that he couldn’t even sit in front of his TV and watch the draft. Imagine the exuberance this kid must have felt when he got the call from home telling him that he was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals.
