While watching SD in the NLCS, I was looking at some Padre teams of the past and happened to notice that although he never had a 200 hit season while he was a Padre, during his career Steve Garvey had 6 seasons in which he collected 200 or more hits in a season. What I found to be incredibly surprising is that the great SD Padre Tony Gwynn only had 5 seasons of 200 or more hits. Garvey was pretty good.
