Prater must have a really deceptive delivery…he’s fooling batters, umpires, his own catcher…
He also seems like the kinda guy who could be dominant in a bullpen if he can ever get his command down. I don’t recall the scouting report on him when he was drafted being that he was a wild armed strikeout artist. But I could be wrong. Seems like maybe the Cards changed something there and he’s struggled to get the hang of it.
