That was a good article on the Cardinal DH production. Since Carp is definitely going to be on the team in 2021 the Cardinals should maximize his value and use him where is most successful. If, and it is a big if, the DH returns to the NL in 2021 Carp should get most of the DH AB’s AND he should hit cleanup. I don’t have the numbers in front of me but I bet they will indicate that cleanup was the spot in the lineup where he was most productive. Don’t ask me why. Maybe he knew he could just let it rip and not worry about going the other way or worry about shifts, just let it rip.
