I think an argument could be made for partial attendance by April 1 with full attendance by July or August but there are still too many unanswered questions regarding a potential vaccine right now.
You are right in that it wouldn’t be surprising to see the owners take a hardline stance again this winter but all we can do is hope that cooler heads prevail. Besides, none of us truly know what the financial situation is for each team. While it seems likely that money was lost in 2020 we don’t know how many millions and millions of dollars the teams have stored away in savings somewhere. I mean if the owners are the smart businessmen as we are led to believe they would have a rainy day fund right?
But even if they do have a rainy day fund they may choose to not want to use it.
