I don’t worry too much about that segment of the fan base. I appreciate their enthusiasm but their unwillingness to consider economics lessens their argument to me. Every fan base has a reactionary crowd. While they can sometimes be a nuisance what would be worse would be to be like the Rays and have no supporters at all, except apparently Dick Vitale.
