thanks gs, I’m currently working off of, no DH until we hear there’s a DH in 2021 NL (ala BW).
If the DH happens, Shildt has Edmans spot as regular 3Bman, and Carp/O’Neill is sound, but it requires O’Neill over the Davis acquisition too. Davis would also get 3B PA’s when Edman floated around.
Red always said, the players will sort themselves out. It would be nice to have added two bats (3 and 4 seasons control) and increased Shildts options. 2022 then opens up RF & DH by your suggestions, which increases Davis and O’Neills playing time, but we’re also not scrambling for a lineup unless Yadi or Wong are gone. Even then our depth sends Edman to 2B, Davis 3B, O’Neill/Ravelo DH
