I was told that expressing an opinion as a fact was not appropriate. That it should be qualified by something like
Kim will “probabl” not be in the rotation. Or, “in my opinion” Kim will not be in the rotation. The change of a word or two can mean so much. It was good advice because it enables one to hedge their bets.
