I thought O’Neill’s nickname was “ROBOCOP” because he’s kind of put together like the real Robocop. Maybe the nickname didn’t stick?
Poncedeleon has to be ”Ponce” or “Explorer” or possibly “FOY” (Fountain of Youth). Just using his last name doesnt cut it with it being so long and having other options.

It might be because he thinks this is as stupid as I do.
He seems a little more serious than others on the team. I like the fire from some of the younger guys on the staff.
The personal nicknames I have for a couple of these guys are “Gomer” for Gomber. He just looks like a Gomer to me, and it fits his name quite well. “Goober” is a good one too.
And I call Hudson “North & South”.
Since July, you could call Carpenter “The Natural”.
